It's important to note this half moon is made from vegetable tanned leather. This leather is treated very naturally - so marks and differences in colour tone are a positive! Each bag will be unique, this is not a fault - just the beauty of the natural product shining through.

Your bag will be packed inside a H&T cotton tote shopping bag (which is good to store your bag in - and or handy for groceries too!) and then into a cardboard box, with a care card and a signed postcard. All our outer cartons are fully recyclable, and are perfect for re-use.

1. How do I clean and care for my half moon bag?

   Your bag is not high maintenance, it will need a little love to keep it looking it’s best. You can use a leather conditioning cream and a soft white cloth. The cream should be used sparingly. It is important to use this conditioning cream if the bag has been exposed to a long hot summer as the natural oils will dry a little in sunshine. Full guidelines can be found on the care page. 

2. How much does a half moon bag weigh?

   The half moon bag weighs around just 300g  - so there will be no sore shoulder here! I select lightweight, strong leathers so you will never be uncomfortable with a Honey and Toast bag.

4. Can the handle of the half moon bag be adjusted?

   The leather handle of the half moon bag can be easily adjusted using the brass buckle. Wear high or lower at your hip. A longer handle is useful in Winter to fit over layers of warm clothes, then adjusted again as seasons change and you are wearing less layers.
