Leather punch tool

Whenever I go to the factory I love rifling through all the amazing tools they have on the work benches. Most people that work there have their own tools they have collected over time (A bit like a chef and their knives maybe)

This one pictured here is a hand tool, it's used with a hammer - to stamp out a shape from a leather bag panel. Into this hole in the leather fits the metal turnlock frame. This would be used on the Eddie shoulder bags in the Honey & Toast bag collection and the Ava satchel bag also.

The shapes for the turnlock are also integrated into the knives that Mike uses with the press to cut the bag panels - see the next blog post for information on this.

The tool pictured is mainly used for samples and development.
